Super User cart7t Posted October 14, 2006 Super User Posted October 14, 2006 You and a gal under the covers sounds like opportunity knocking. Fishing in 45 degree weather with gusting winds sounds like your knees will be knocking at best. I'd tell the guys they'll have to muddle on without ya. Quote
RiskKid. Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Let's see a Mook on a cold wet boat or this in a warm comfortable bed....Hmmmmm Ron's got to understand! Quote
t bend tex Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 I recall a quote by Kipling - I think- something like this "a woman is a woman, but a cigar is a good smoke". Maybe that should be "a woman is a woman, but but a good fishing trip will be remembered forever" Quote

Siebert Outdoors Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Wow Muddy, your priorities are a little different then mine would have been in those conditions. It was a win win situation either way. Quote
fishbear Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Next time, take her out in the boat, and let her fish with you.............. That would be the best of both worlds IMO. Quote
FishinChef Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 This thread got me to thinking about my fishing priotities in relation to the opposite sex. I fished as a kid almost non stop until about 14; when I got interested in girls. No more fishing at all; not through high school, college, nothing. No fishing at all until I had been married for about ten years; once again non stop fishing. It's really great, I feel like a kid again, I have a lot of fun and try to get out as much as possible. I do kinda miss the girls though Quote

Panamoka_Bassin Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Most people tell me my priorities are screwed up, but I don't care, they're my priorities! Here's about the best day I had this summer... 8:30am- met buddy for breakfast 9:15am- On the golf course, shot my PB (92...ok, so I'm not a very good golfer) 12:30pm- Home again, getting lunch and beers 1:00pm- On the lake, caught 15 fish to 2 lbs 5:00pm- Home again, showered 6:30pm- At girlfriend's house for dinner (kids are at g'ma house ) 8:00pm- Done with dinner and into "extra curicular" activities 11:30pm- Fall asleep watching Simpsons Now if I could get EVERY day like this, I would be an extremely happy man :) :) Quote
Guest avid Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 OOOPS, I did it again. Sorry, but even though I thought I was being "clever" at disquising the risque nature of my post. It was deleted. Apologies to the mods. I know you don't need me to give you extra work. BassResource.com rocks. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 15, 2006 Super User Posted October 15, 2006 I was clever...I smiled too...before I deleted it. You know, it's not about being mean, lacking a sense of humor or an "agenda", it just didn't work for this Forum. Quote
