Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted February 3, 2009 Super User Posted February 3, 2009 The white with blue flake baits were accidentally mixed in this fall and well here you go Quote
Super User CWB Posted February 3, 2009 Super User Posted February 3, 2009 I've never had a problem with them. I think it even says on the package do not mix with other plastics. What you had was a meltdown! Keep them by themselves and out of direct sunlight when it's real hot and you'll be O.K. Zeros tend to float a bit after they get chewed on by about 2 dozen fish. Maybe the salt is let out when they get torn up. Quote
bass wrangler569 Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Yep, thats why I don't use them anymore. Happened to me the first time I bought them (they were even stored in the bag). Haven't bought another pack since. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted February 3, 2009 Author Super User Posted February 3, 2009 I really like the zero's and keep them separate in packs but somehow I accidentally threw in some non zulu baits with my zulu's....you live....you learn :-[ Quote
Super User Maxximus Redneckus Posted February 3, 2009 Super User Posted February 3, 2009 No probs here either i love um i have paks that been in storage over 2 yrs Quote

NYfishwow Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 good never to mix anything with that bait. when summer comes i use it less because it melts. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted February 4, 2009 Super User Posted February 4, 2009 Dip them in some JJ's Magic and watch what happens. It's an amazing disappearing act. Quote
SCBASSHole Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I keep seeing this stuff everywhere...I was planning on buying some this weekend at Bass pro. I guess I shouldn't mix it with other baits? Is it like Gulp? I saw some dude shoot it with a shotgun on ESPN...same stuff?? Quote
BaZZman Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Elaztech is totally different than plastic worms. It's marked on the package, do not store together. They work great. They catch alot more fish than normal plastic and they float. The Zero is full of salt so it sinks and the salt keeps coming out when I fish it. I change after five fish. Tried the other plastic sink baits and they are "one and done". They keep tearing up. Quote
TheBeast Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 BaZZman, try them wacky rigged with a o-ring and you can use one all day with no tears at all. Quote
