Valascus Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 On a trip to Tablerock Lake for 7...count 'em...7 Days!!!! So I won't be around for a while. Got my gear sorted and ready, got what I plan on using tied on the rods, and got everything packed. Only thing left to do is leave on Saturday morning. Just gotta make it through work today...gonna be a long cold 8 hours. Before I leave, does anyone have any more recent info on The Rock? Any advice, info, tip, tricks...anything ya got, would be very much appreciated. Thanks again everyone!! I'll get some pics for ya! 8-) Quote
Super User senile1 Posted October 13, 2006 Super User Posted October 13, 2006 Valascus, everything I've read up until the 11th stated that the fish were still being caught on drop shot and carolina rigs in 25 - 40 ft of water on main lake gravel points during the day. Some fish were coming up in the shallows early and late and hitting topwaters. Decrease that depth by about 10 ft on the James River and Kings River arms or on the upper end of the White River arm. I haven't been out there in three months so all I can give you is what I've read from reports. Quote
