Siebert Outdoors Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 We always talk about fishing cold fronts but what about warm fronts in the fall. How do these effect fish while they are passing through? 1 Quote
NJfishinGuy Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 im curious myself, i think and sudden change can send the fish for a loop but maybe its a positive loop like when rain comes in Quote
GAMEOVER Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Ive had great success going back to plastics during those days. Slap on a Fat Ika in watermellon seed and hang on tight. Quote
fishbear Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Guys, that is what I did this last Sat.... check out my post in the MY Tournament or Outing section... .Great day on the lake..... I fished exclusively with senkos and Fat Ikas,,, had a great day for me...did a few things wrong, but have figured them out with some help,, and will not be making those mistakes again. The weather last week was we had a front come thru on Wed. night, Thur. morning, and then it turned off clear and about 70-75 degrees. It made for beautiful day on the lake, and I spent a most relaxing 8 hrs. fishing and catching. Quote
CrazedL.IFisherman Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 as far as the rain part i totally agree, fishing 95 times out of 100 picks up, except for this one lake thats by me, when my fishing buddy and i hit it no matter what we are lucky to pull a bass from it, we just went there 1 week ago, fronts were definitely coming in, rain was about to and did come down, the entire time fishing didnt pick up what so ever, i cannot understand it and that lake is for sure our nemesis Quote
