Super User burleytog Posted September 22, 2006 Super User Posted September 22, 2006 What a hard life I have. Got up at 12:30 yesterday after sleeping about 8 or 9 hours. Piddled around the house for most of the day. Came into work at 7, plugged in the boat battery charger. I'm sleepy, but I'm dying to fish. Had a good evening on the water Wed. and I want to go back and continue my hot streak on that lake. Why must I make such difficult decisions? :-/ ;D Quote
telecaster Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Some people were just born to make the really hard decissions. :-/ Quote
CJ Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I get more chances to sleep than do fish.I say fish, you will get plenty of sleep when your ! Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted September 22, 2006 Super User Posted September 22, 2006 Sleep is for the winter months. Quote
Syfer420 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I would trade the ability to fall asleep for a bass boat and a decent abu garcia rod and reel combo ;D Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted September 22, 2006 Super User Posted September 22, 2006 Sleep?...I didn't know that was an option. Quote
basser89 Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Sleep is for the winter months. Unless you have warm water discharge areas to fish! ;D Then it's just a quick nap every once in a while to let the batteries recharge! Quote
Cajun1977 Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 a buddy once told me sleep when your dead enjoy the now Quote
Capt Jack Thomas Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Exactly. Fish !!! Sleep is for the dead! Go get tight. Bass on! Quote
GeneinTX Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 It would take a really bad hangover for me to choose sleep over fishing!!!! Quote
MyKeyBe Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Sleep. You can dream about catching the world record! Sleep is under rated! Quote
Brian_Reeves Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 No-Doz, Coffee, and mountain dew. Apparently you are not supposed to go to sleep when you don't want to. I've went many mornings after late nights and mountain dew and no-doz works great. Quote
Zebco202 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I might also suggest Red Bull. that stuff has helped me out the last few weekends I've been fishing after some late nights. Good stuff, I drink one every couple of hours in the morning and then switch over to Mountain Dew in the afternoons, keeps me going through 8+ hours on the water. Quote
