Daichi Stand Out hooks

On most of the threads that discuss drop shot hooks, the Stand Out hook doesn't seem to have many fans. Is there a reason/problem with the hooks why they dont seem too popular?

Intersting concept, but after you get the hang of it you can tie the hook and keep it in horizontal position, you can achieve the same with an R bend hook and with those you can rig the bait T-exposed for dropshotting in heavy cover.
