fishintroop Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 I'm looking to get a few swimbaits to experiment with. I have a couple of the MattLures Ultimate Bluegills and was looking at the Fish Arrow Flat Jack. I was wondering if anybody has used them and what their opinions are. I did a search but didn't come up with anything. Thanks for your opinions Quote
Randall Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 There are better baits out there for the money. Paint will chip off quick. I don't know if the guy still makes them but there was a company called Muskysnacks that made musky baits that were something like the Flat Jack with the same profile but better made. I traded for a used one and it was much better than the Flat Jack. If you just want a topwater type bait get one of fourbizz's 2x4s. I don't have one but have heard nothing but good things about them. Quote
Super User T-rig Posted February 5, 2009 Super User Posted February 5, 2009 I like the Flat Jack! The paint does chip but this happens with most wooden lures. Walk the dog retrieve works best for me. Even works for big perch! Quote
LooksLikeSinbad Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 That is the biggest perch I have ever seen! Quote
Super User Raul Posted February 5, 2009 Super User Posted February 5, 2009 Gollllyyy mollllyyy !!!!, now that 's what I call a big perch. Quote

MSPbass Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 HA! HA! HA! ;D I was reading down the thread and got to that perch picture and was like "Holy S! That's the biggest perch I've ever seen!" And then I read the responses after it and totally started laughing! HA! Nice way to start my day. But seriously, that's a huge perch. Quote
