Anyone use these yet?  I picked two up today at basspro.  One green one black.  Those colors work the best around here in Okla.  I like the concept of adding more splash to an already good frog.

I saw those too bought myself one. As far as it works, it reminds me of the horny toad poppers. When I used the horny toad poppers it worked great! I'm guessing this one would work better than the horny toad.

I bought a couple but have not fished with them yet. I am a little concerned the hooks seem a little on the small side, but will find out this spring.

As far as the hooks go, there's a little modification that all spro frogs needs and that is to take pliers and bend the 2 hooks up. Just lift it off the back of the frog, this will guarantee a higher percentage of landing a fish.

The problem I have with this modification is when fishing heavy slop the hooks seem to grab everything along the way.

The new poppers seem to have the hooks set just about right against the plastic of the body.  How well they will work remains to be seen.  I picked up three to use in Florida this month.

I don't do anything with the hooks on Spro frogs, but I do "exercise" the plastic body.  You actually get them to a point where they are much softer than straight out of the package.  i almost bought a few of the popper models last week, but put them back, since I already have other popper style frogs.  When they are toast, maybe I'll try a few.

Oh, when picking out colors, look at the belly color and the skirts.  Many are the same from that perspective, and the top color is just angler eye candy :D

I attended a seminar held by Dean Rojas recently and he was demonstrating the new popping frog. He said it may be his top choice this year (could have been as sales pitch). He recommended that the hooks be opened up a little, but only slightly so the points will still be covered.
