BTW, The majority of my big bass are caught between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, on the hottest bluebird days of summer and on soft platics.

I have been hearing this for years, but have not found it to the case for me -- what is the source for this claim? Is it personal experience or has it come from some book or article?

Surprisingly, Roadwarrior and myself have both indicated that exact time frame

in several previous threads. Though I try to refrain from repeating myself, I tend to forget

that the Bass Resource roster has been growing in leaps-and-bounds. I might also add that

I've been bass fishing for nearly 50 years, so my experiences aren't exactly a flash-in-the-pan ;D

However, I actually caught my PB on a Norman Fat Boy, bluegill pattern. Plus, that particular bass was caught about ten minutes before sunrise. Maybe I was just at the right spot at exactly the right time. This has never developed into a pattern for catching big bass for me. Soft plastics consistently produce trophy class largemouth.

Thanks George for resizing them :D...did you open P.S. and give them a size restriction, or did you somehow do it with the tools when re-posting?

I can resize photos (L x W limits) in Photoshop if need be.

I have plenty more photos to show too, and I also believe in the 10-4pm time frame. Matt brings up some good points about accurate casting, and also being quiet (entries, even with the TM I believe)

Catching big girls is usually not by mistake, but yes, it can and will happen.

Photo shop would be a good place to do it - constrain proportion and size to 640 width. They will work out fine then although I prefer 400 in the event that a page has side bars or such.

Roadwarrior, What is your proven favorite plastic rig for catching bigger bass?

Sparky asking with what is not going to help much, ask where, when and how. Presentation and location together are more important than bait type.
