So, my deepest apologize to all. I hope that you can forgive. I have never been on a site were one person could get so much good advise. I never meant to "tick" or "disrespect" anyone. I hope thad that last post will not hurt me getting any advice for all of you. Quote
langs15 Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 No problem, just think before you act. Don't be so narrow minded when you think either....but GO FISHING! Quote

bassmasta7 Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 There is no way that question could have stemed from my post "Caught without a license." Quote
KYbass1276 Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 You wouldn't be human if you didn't tick someone off every once and a while. No big deal I will give you advice if I can anytime you need it. Just ask Quote
Guest avid Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 What they said. Kinda felt like this right? PS - did you get a fishin license? Quote
fishingfrenzy Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 No big deal, everyone has done something wrong. I have done some things that are considered illegal.... :-X (mainly hunting, not fishing), put them behind you and move on. Quote
Super User senile1 Posted May 23, 2006 Super User Posted May 23, 2006 I have never done anything that was illegal. I also caught a 20 lb bass in Missouri and ran a 2 minute mile. 8-) It was all a matter of miscommunication and misunderstanding and we all played a part. Quote
Deuceu72 Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 I will offer advice to you anytime and dont keep yourself up @ night over the post. Who'll remember in a month? Keep fishing and most of all, HAVE FUN!!! ;D ;D ;D Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted May 23, 2006 Super User Posted May 23, 2006 I think the post was great. It helps the newer and younger fishermen know how important a licence. So don't worry about it Derrick. You actually offered a service by posting that. And for those who have trouble forgiving him. To bad. Derrick has showed us that this sport is important to him by apologizing and not running away from this site. That shows character. Quote

Super User Sam Posted May 23, 2006 Super User Posted May 23, 2006 In Virginia you can get a lifetime fresh and saltwater fishing license for a one time fee. I did it a few years back after I decided to go fishing early in the year and I did not renew my license for the new year. After I got home I swore I would never do that again so I went over to the Fish and Game Commission's office and got a nice lifetime license which I carry with me where ever I go, be it a local pond, lake, river or the bay. You are more relaxed and can have more fun if you are legal. SO GET YOUR LICENSE!!! Quote
Rattlinrogue Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Derrick,Just the fact that you are man enough to apologize(I've done it a few times on this site, too) shows that you have character.Forget it now and enjoy this site and your bassin'! Quote
Madhouse27 Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Fluke said it right. You stepped up and apologized and took responsibility. I consider the matter behind us. Quote
basser89 Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 As the others have said, you owned up and apologized shows the character you have! Now, let's hear some good fishing stories or questions!!! Quote
