RLinNH Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 ...i drove by my local outdoors shop and figured I'd stop in for ONE bag of Tubes. I tied the Monkey down in the truck with some 550 Chord good and tight. Well, the little bastage must have chewed his way through because I walked out with 1 Bag of YUM 3 1/2 Vibra King Tubes, 2 Bags of YUM Garret Mega Tubes, 1 Bag of ZOOM Super Hogs, and my first bag of 4 inch Senkos. You should have seen me in the parking lot trying to round the little Bait Monkey up and back into the truck. ;D Quote
SuthernProg Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 I was surfing BPS, Cabela's and various Ebay stores looking for fishing shirts. I had links to almost every shirt around, from regular Colimbia shirts all the way to $98.00 tournament shirts. I decided I'd lobby the better half and had about 15 little windows each displaying a different shirt. I sat and started rambling on and on about the different styles, the fabrics, the logos. According to the wife, a strange gleam came to my eyes. She patted me on the hand and said..."Honey...you have to stop...this isn't good for you." So, in her words...we negotiated a deal. I was ecstatic...I'd have to just hold off on fishing stuff for a couple of weeks to get the shirt I wanted. No problem. A day later, some people I pick up for work gave me about forty dollars worth of gas money. So...I went to Greentop Sporting Goods and blew it all. I came home and was stowing the gear away when the wife drove up in the driveway. I scrambled, throwing stuff into closets, other bedrooms. I tossed a worm wrap under our bed. Don't you know she went right to the bed, got down on the floor and peeked under the bed looking for a pair of shoes??? Pulled out the worm wrap with the tags still on it. I began ranting about how it was MY car, MY gas money....MY TACKLE!. She sat down on the bed, patted the spot next to her and said..."Sweetie...it's fine if you wanted to use your money on fishing stuff...it's YOUR money."I was nodding in triumph when she said..."So, what are you going to do when you run out of gas?" :'( Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 You guys are lucky. My baitmonkey socked me for a new Loomis BCR855, some baits from Ghostbaits.com, some baits from Joesjigtrailers, some x raps, gammy hooks, zoom hawgs, and some lures from, kickerfishbait.com, and a few other items I am forgetting.
