Eddie Munster Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I posted this about 6 months ago but there's still a couple days left to use these $10.00 off $25.00 purchase 'Coach's certificates'. http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?t=754368 Be sure to print it off a color printer and tell them you received it via email. Super User burleytog Posted January 26, 2009 Super User Posted January 26, 2009 Not that there's anything wrong with that... Quote

Super User Gone_Phishin Posted January 26, 2009 Super User Posted January 26, 2009 Great deal on the Bi-You buzz. I've been curious about that bait. Quote
Super User CWB Posted January 27, 2009 Author Super User Posted January 27, 2009 Great deal on the Bi-You buzz. I've been curious about that bait. Looks awesome. Couldn't pass it up. I've liked the double bladed buzzers ever since the Roland Martin double buzzer hit the market. Used Hart, Strike King, but this looks much better! Quote
Stingray23 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I was at Dicks this past sunday and picked up a few things on sale too. I found some Bill Lewis Ratt-L-traps for $0.02. Thats not a typo. I couldnt believe it! I took all of them! The Xcalibur X50 traps were on sale(picked one up, I bought some SK shadalicious swimbaits on sale, a SK red eye shad on sale too. The store employee wasnt done marking down everything that day and the store was about to close so I didnt get to see all the sales items. I'm going back this coming weekend to get some more stuff. I cant stop, i've been bitten BAD!!!! Quote

Super User J Francho Posted January 27, 2009 Super User Posted January 27, 2009 When they were building a new plaza here, one of the storefronts had a huge banner: "Dick's Coming Soon!" Quote
farmpond1 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 man, what a rip off.i poured myself some wine, lit some candles before i opened the thread and its about fishing lures??? ;D ;D ;D I almost hurt myself refraining from writing what I really wanted to write. Actually, I wrote it and then deleted it. This is a family site, after all. ;D 8-) Quote
PlasticMan135 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 When they built the Dicks in Whitehall PA they built it right next to a grocery store called Giant. Giant insisted on being listed on the sign first. Man, what were they thinking. Quote

basser89 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Must be nice! LOL! I've been to two different Dick's Sporting Goods in the past week and both of their selections flat out STINK! I usually rely on them for my Suffix braid and a few other odds and ends that I can't get at other places. The only thing I found on sale were the Reaction Strike swimbaits. I picked up two packs of them just to satisfy the Bait Monkey. I wonder if they'd air a picture of that sign PlasticMan135 was talking about on one of the late shows? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Quote
PlasticMan135 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I wanted to take a picture of it and send it into the Jay Leno Show. That sign only lasted a little while. It has now been reversed and Dick's is listed first, but its still funny. Quote

They really have just the basics in a lot of lure types. Unfortunately some of the guys that work there are know-it-all ****** too, kinda like 'well, I have 35 Croix rods, what do you have?'. Quote
Calcutta Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 I agree with some posts, Everytime Ive gone in Dicks they had a whole lot of nothing.Im glad someone likes them. Quote

These buzzbaits are awesome you throw about a foot on to the shore then burn it back to the boat you get some vicious strikes off them, Especially at night Quote
