Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Ok, post what you think your PB for '06 will be. In December we can look back and see how close we got to being correct. I'm guessing 7lbs even in my home lake. Fork could hold somthing special but that wouldn't count to me. May your goals me dwarfed by your actual success! Good Luck!! Quote
Cajun1977 Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 predicting 5 pounder hoping for 8 pounder not many big fish waters here Quote
abelfisher Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 OK, good idea, LBH!! 5 #'er I would be pleased with that! Quote
papa smurf Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I'm hopin for 10 but 7 or 8 would be more realistic Quote
Super User 5bass Posted March 17, 2006 Super User Posted March 17, 2006 I plan to fish Briery Creek a couple of times this Spring.I'm going after a 10.......that will top my PB of 8.5#.That particular fish was caught at a golf course pond. FORE!!!!! :-? Quote
flippin4it. Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Wow, a hard one to predict...... I'll say 8+ pounder would be realistic. We will see what happens. Quote
CJ Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I'm going for a new PB smallmouth, 6lbs.The old PB is 4 lbs. 13oz. smallmouth Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 6oz. Thats my prediction I dont want to curse myself. Hopefully I will catch one over 7.5lbs though that would break my PB and I have 2 great lakes to break it in. Quote
Javelin_Venom Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I am going to say in the 6lb. range. My PB ever is 5lb. 10 oz. and I have quite a few trips planned this year so I'm hoping (hope being the key word) that I can get a new PB. I am going to El Salto in June so I will probably be able to break it there, but as LBH said about Fork, I don't know if I'll count El Salto. My current PB would be lunch for some of the bass in that lake. Quote
Nick_Barr Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I am shootin for LMB: 9 lbs., i see these spawnin every once in a while in WA PB: 6 3/4 SMB: Better than my PB at about 5 1/2 lbs. Spotted: Going to Missouri in the next month, want to try and at least catch one! Quote
senko_77 Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 14.8....no jk. i would love to catch one that is over 10 this year, but, i am aiming for around 8 Quote
cgs2004 Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I'd like to get a 7+ lber this year. Anything over 7 is just gravy ;D Quote
mike bat Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 im looking for a 8lber this year but really want to hit that WI record bass Quote
FisinCrazee Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Trying for over 8 lbs. Already have a 6 lb 5 oz. this year PB is 10 lb 8 oz. Bob Quote
Captain Cali Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 10lbs. I'm going out on a limb on this one, sorta. If I hit my main lake hard, which I'm gearing up to do real soon, there is a lot of potential for some monsters. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted March 17, 2006 Super User Posted March 17, 2006 Come on guys .... shoot for the stars ....... 22 lbs. 6 oz : ;D CGS is right. 7 lbs. here in Kansas is a good mark to shoot for. Quote
Master_Hunter_1977 Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I primaraly fish for smallies it seems like every year I get a few 5.25 to 5.5 lbers but this year I would like to break that 6lber mark so that my goal. I will keep everyone posted. For large mouth there are a couple of lakes that I do fish for largies but never have caught one over 3.5lbs so for them I would like a 4.5lber. (crossing my fingers and knocking on wood) Quote
BassChaser57 Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 10+++ I am going to try to pull another 10 out of Fork this year and hopefully El Salto this fall. With Canada thrown in, whatever I catch, the trips will be worth it. 8-) Quote
Vyron Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 7 pounder and new PB around september That's a monster where I fish Quote
Hawg_Hunter Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I'll say 8lbs.......thats a good one in Iowa 8-) HH Quote
Super User dodgeguy Posted March 17, 2006 Super User Posted March 17, 2006 well, here goes nothing.i live in ny and the record here is 11 lbs. 4 oz. i predict i will break it. ;Di really think it's possible becuase some of the lakes i fish hold some really big bass for ny state.my pb is 7-12 so far. Quote
Redtail Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 As long as it is 1 ounce heavier than the biggest one LBH catches when we fish together in RI in a few weeks! But I'm sure he won't let that happen. LOL PB right now in 6.4 - anything close to that would be awesome. I just love to fish! Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 17, 2006 Author Posted March 17, 2006 Redtail, don't laugh, my guests tend to do better than or as good as I do! I like to put people on fish. I really know this reservoir well and it's a treat to share it with people who see the same thing I do when they view it. Pure heaven! I always give the guest first shot at the better cast but the gods will tend to reward my selflessness now and again, lol. Like any good 'ol hole, she can shut you out on a day when conditions are perfect and fill your boat on a north wind, bluebird day. You never know how much she will give up on any 1 outting. I'M JUMPIN' OUTTA MY SKIN!! Can't Wait! Quote
