Rattletrap Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 I loved his military boat wrap(That came out of his on pocket) and his patriotic attitude. A Georgia boy pulling for a Cali boy. You got a love that!!!! Quote
Top Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 I saw a picture of it somewhere... I can't find one now... I want to see another picture of the boat I want to find more info about this guy... any fan of the Military has a fan in me... here is what I found but no Picture *sigh* California pro Mike Reynolds is one of the few anglers in the Elite Series field who has a boat design that doesn't promote a particular sponsor. Instead, Reynolds' design is a tribute to the United States armed forces. Reynolds came up with the concept himself and paid his own money to have the design applied to the boat. The wrap features the seals of the branches of the American military and a large message that reads "These Colors Don't Run". Reynolds said he chose the design to honor Americans fighting overseas. He said he wanted to show his gratitude to those soldiers, who he said make it possible for he and other anglers to pursue careers as professional fishermen. Reynolds earned the immediate respect of two servicemen at last week's event on Lake Amistad. After following Reynolds in the tournament, Mark Cory, an active duty U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant at Randolph AFB, and Greg Perkins, a former U.S. Marine, presented Reynolds with an American flag, which he carried with him onto the weigh-in stage on the final day. Brian_Reeves Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 As an active duty infantryman in the Army, I can honestly say this guy motivates and inspires me. Stuff like that means more to soldiers than most realize. He has my respect. Quote
