Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Just some examples of the fun stuff you can do with your pics to make them different from each other. Seems we have hundreds of pics that are identicle except for the clothing. Programs that let you modify your pics can really make them stand out from each other. Quote
southern-tn-angler Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Very kewl pics. Once I start catching bass like that I can start doing pics like that. ;D Quote
Triton_Mike Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 LowBudget?? WHat programs are you using for those pics? I like them. T Mike Quote
-Drums- Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Dude - the "priceless" Visa one is great. Nice work! Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 Majority were done in microsoft picture it perfect but I think that program is now called digital image. It is like an intermediate type program. I can't seem to figure out photoshop or fireworks. Picture it is easy. "express" versions don't cut it. They just let you do the basics. Quote
Triton_Mike Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Lowbudget, IS this the software ie the one with the little girl on the front of the package or with the chinese lady on it. I'm with you photoshop is over my head!! I need something tons easier LOL. http://www.freegiftworld.com/gift.html?nopop=1&CID=39217&ADTGID=8344&SID=KE69452&xid=0 http://shopping.yahoo.com/p:Microsoft%20Picture%20It%21%20Premium%2010%20Software:1991553448;_ylt=Ag1BaJ0hzKkqt2ie2jGIgVgbFt0A;_ylu=X3oDMTBic2hxMGNhBGx0AzQEc2VjA3Ny?clink=dmps/.22.microsoft_picture_it.22./ctx=mid:5,pid:1991553448,pdid:5,pos:1,spc:14489115,date:20060319,srch:kw,x: Mike Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 I honestly don't know the differences but if I had to buy one I would buy the picture it personally but you might want to look into which is easier. I lost my copy of picture it. Came with a works suite pkg and of course, that's the one disc I lost! Just had to rebuild computer so now I don't have it anymore. Let me know what you find. Quote
Muddpuppy Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 I have Microsoft Picture It I think and I can't get it too do much at all, is that an upgrade? Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 T Mike- call me, DON'T BUY ANYTHING! 401-743-2222 MP- You may have an "express" version. They just do the basics like crop, red-eye,etc Quote
marlboroman Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Those are cool,,, I am a graphic designer by trade and use Photoshop, corel,Illustrator, and many more daily.... You could spend several hours learning the tools of PS and become a nice designer in no time at all. BTW look at my sig... Took 5 mins in PS and was very simple to create.... Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted March 20, 2006 Super User Posted March 20, 2006 I am taking a class next fall (actually three, one credit hour courses) on the ins and outs of Photoshop. Hopefully by nexy year I can put out some cool photo projects. Good work LBH, I especially like that first one. That deserves to be framed and hung on a wall. Quote
paparock Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 LBH very nice pics! I have such a program, if I can ever figure out how to use it. Now that I see some of what they can do I will try harder. Thanks! Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 20, 2006 Author Posted March 20, 2006 These are extremely simple as I'm sure marlboroman will attest. This is such a user friendly, basic program. I really wish I had the patience to learn these other programs, I have so many ideas and nowhere to put 'em. Quote
marlboroman Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 well, I could teach any of you here with a small tutorial on how to create your dream photo. Just ask away... Quote
Triton_Mike Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 OK Marlboroman. How do you combine 2 pictures and make them almost seamless? What is the actual procedure called that does this? Mike Quote
marlboroman Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 well, do u have a example? It could be called several diffrent things... Quote
nwgabassmaster Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Super-imposition. Got to love it. Reminds me of the "goat song" that Adam Sandler had on one of his early cds, and they talked about super-imposing the goat into the pictures. PhotoSuite 4 is what I use for my picture editing. It's easy to use. I am trying to figure it out for banners, and the like. I especially love using it for lightening up pictures that are too dark. Quote
Triton_Mike Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Here is a pic that I mean by making it look seamless. another site T Mike Quote
Redtail Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Nice job Russ! Is it just me or does Low Budget Hooker look like Gilligan in the second picture! LOL Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 20, 2006 Author Posted March 20, 2006 Hmmm Redtail- those hats are "required" where I'm taking you so,....smile for the camera! Quote
marlboroman Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Hummm, I don't know that I would call them seamless, I would call it a calodge "spelling" When I get to work I do one up for ya.... Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 20, 2006 Author Posted March 20, 2006 In mine, you would put soft borders or transparent borders on both, then select 1 to be the main piece and then add the other one on top of it. It's a collage that starts with a backround (pic 1) and only has 1 added to it (pic 2) When you think of a collage you think of lots of pics, this is a 2pic collage. Quote
marlboroman Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 OK I done up a small piece that consist of 3 types of collage. Well, 2 are fades and 1 is seemless or I would call it Photo manipulation. See is you can pick the one out that is seemless... It really is not that hard and there is a trick to it... Quote
