CJ Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 I have now heard of this myth or fact about bass having downset eyes on a couple of occasions.I have been told that if you look at a bass ,after catching it, from the side,if its eyes appear to be looking down it is a bad sign that they aren't feeding well. This is supposed to be from weather pressure.Has anybody heard of this?Is it a fact or myth? nwgabassmaster Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Well, in a BASS Mag., they had the same question, but it was a myth. It went that if the bass was looking up, they were feeding above themselves. If the eyes were looking down, they are feeding below themselves. They said it was a myth, so perhaps it's a conspiracy. Who knows? ;D Quote
Chris Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 The way it was told to me was that a bass's eyes will be locked into the postion that it was when it saw your lure is there any truth to it I have no idea. Quote
