ptomacbass Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Why would you want to buy that? I would be suprised if a single person has bought that lure. Besides Raul, Micro, and T-rig Quote

Super User bilgerat Posted January 24, 2009 Author Super User Posted January 24, 2009 Ha! Check out the FAQ link on that site . They use genuine Eagle Claw hooks on some of their stuff. Sheesh, you figure for that kind of money they'd spring for the Owners or the Gammys...... I guess if a pimp wanted to go fishing, this would be the place to gear up. Quote
Super User CWB Posted January 24, 2009 Super User Posted January 24, 2009 Probably great for hookin' up with a bigmouth in the hood bro! ;D ;D ;D Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted January 24, 2009 Super User Posted January 24, 2009 Yeah dog : Quote
dumb_dog11 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 hahaha...i know exactly where that store is but i never went in now i know BTW its in Santa Barbara....a pretty well off area where that type of gear might be justified Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 24, 2009 Super User Posted January 24, 2009 With the stock market in the toilet the lure may be a good investment. Quote
TrippyJai Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 .... huh? If I won the lottory, I still wouldn't buy those... Quote
Upriver88 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I think my girlfriends next christmas present will be two nice solid gold fishing spoon earings. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted January 24, 2009 Super User Posted January 24, 2009 i clicked on the million dollar lure, and i laughed out loud when i read at the bottom "We highly reccomend using the SmartLink Ultimate Lure Saver System" Quote
quanjig Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Those baits are the shizzle my nizzle!!! Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 i clicked on the million dollar lure, and i laughed out loud when i read at the bottom "We highly reccomend using the SmartLink Ultimate Lure Saver System" Looks a bit more like a striper/bluefish plug. Imagine casting that bad boy off the tip of some jetty, and the bail snaps close on your reel, SNAP...gone in the wind. One hell of a sacrafice to the fishin gods, thats for sure Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted January 25, 2009 Super User Posted January 25, 2009 At 3# it may be suitable for trolling for the next world record Blue Marlin,I guess it's true about California being the land of fruits and nuts. If I were living in 10,000 sq ft home on Malibu Beach I may frame those lures for display in my trophy room. Looking at there spoons, gold is an extremly soft metal and couple of hits especially from a toothy fish would mangle them up in a New York minute. Gold at apx$850 an oz and I will figure these are 1 oz lures as I did not notice a weight. 14k=58% gold content the Plain Jane spoon would have about $500 worth of gold in it. The other assembly parts have a nil value and the labor isn't much as all you need is a wax mold and centrifugal casting machine, hot torch and a buffing wheel. WHO WANTS TO GO INTO BUSINESS..........LOL Any dental tech or jewler could make them. Quote
