I am surprised #400 wasn't caught this weekend.   Fork had full parking lots at every ramp.   Caught some good ones this weekend on Sunday.   I looked for Rickeys rental boats on the water, but did not see Zimmy and his bunch down from Chicago on Fork.  I was busy on trying to catch #400.

My partner through a swim bait all day.   No bites, but I threw a 1oz white spinner bait with extra large willow leafs  for a chunk and a Tiki Moto wave lizzard, grn red flake for my other chunks.    Sunday was a beautiful day, sunny and no wind.   Did see some buck bass crusing the shallows, water temp was 48-54 degrees, depending on where you were.

If someone catches it, it's worth 5,600$ at 14lb's..i would be sick everyday this week and upcoming too, if i didn't live so far away. :(

I'm going to laugh (and cry) if some sets a new state record on #400.  I'm from Texas and i haven't fished there in over 13 years

Hopefully, I'm sick tomorrow.   85 degrees would be a great day to be sick, sick of indoors, a little whitelie that my boss will asked me, so, where you heading tomorrow?   Fork!   Good luck!.

we were down there all weekend. friday was our first day fishing,it was a pretty decent day, caught a few fish nothing big :-/ water temps in the low 50's

an air temps in upper 50's. we were using a lot of soft baits texas rigged didn't have a lot of luck. then we switched to crankbaits and caught some decent ones bouncing off stumps.we fished primarly in 8 to 25" of water.friday nite storms moved in dumped about 3" of rain, by sat morning it was thundering and lightining and we didn't get out till abot noon. i didn't like the idea of being a human lightining rod fished sat afternoon in the rain and didn't have any luck sunday was a great day but the fishing was slow caught a few . got a great sunburn though

water temps rose to middle 50's by afernoon i was really disappointed that i had to leave without # 400 to my name :'( :' i guess i"ll just have to leave that one for you guys who live down there! we had a great time and hoping to come back again ;D i was simply amazed how many stumps were in that lake !
