We just got a lot of rain these last couple of days and the water level went up about a foot. This has added some depth to the spawning beds. In my lake there are two major sections; #1 the lake that has about 4-6 feet that extend from the shore line and then it drops off to about 12-16 ft and #2 a marsh area thats about 1-4 ft. Last year I saw most of the spawning beds in section #1 but lately have been catching a lot more fish in the marsh. Should I see the fish moving back into the old spawning area (are they creatures of habit)?

This is an areal view of my lake/pond, the area on the bottom is the marsh.
