Triton21 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Being new on this I can say that RW has been very informative and welcomed me warmly(as well as the rest of the people here). I think this is a great site and RW is way up at toward the top of the list. My hat is off to you. Kelley Quote
orangebynature Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I don't post a lot of questions but when I do RW's reply & opinion is very much respected. Thanks, RW Quote
Jawjacker Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 In all the posts I've ever read from RW,I've yet to read sarcasm, negativity,or just plain ole talking about someone. To me,that is a man of high character. They don't make many like him anymore.Although I've never met him,I consider him a friend.RW,You're one hail of a guy.Tight Lines,RR I whole heartily agree! Super User Gatorbassman Posted January 30, 2006 Super User Posted January 30, 2006 RW you are a rare individual. If the world had more guys like you just think of what kind of place it would be. Quote
preach4bass Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 You're a good guy RW. Thanks for everything you do for this sport, this site, and all of us anglers. Quote
ball_coach_1 Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Agree with all the posts about RW. He offered to take me out if I was in the area to get me on some smallmouth MONTHS ago...I reminded him of his offer...he didn't forget. RW, thanks for being one of the BIG reasons this is such a great site. Quote
Redtail Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 RW has helped me on many ocaasion - caught my biggest LM on a Fat Ika suggested by the Warrior. When RW talks - I listen! Thanks for all your help. Quote
basspro48 Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Here's to RW, I know I've become a better angler by listening to him. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted January 30, 2006 Author Posted January 30, 2006 Again, sorry if I embarressed you with this post but if you read it, its a great testament to your efforts. There's alot to be said by alot of different people but the general consensus remains the same. Personally I think lots of people here are glad I gave them a place to say what they've been feeling since coming here. Same with Chris. Sorry, but someone needs to let you guys know how much you've made a difference to some of us. Widening our world to the one passion that drives us all from the heart. (Even if neither of you can post a friggin' pic now and again! LOL ) Many of us have become better anglers, better teachers and better listeners thanks to the many writings and acts you've both contributed. OK, mush, mush, blah, blah, oh how sweet, go ahead guys, lay it on,I don't care,...Pappa always taught me to thank those that deserve your gratitude and his opinion was always the only one that mattered to me Thanks to all who at least try to make a difference Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted January 30, 2006 Super User Posted January 30, 2006 i have to say its rare these days to find compassionate people and those who contribute so much and seek little or nothing in return. we are lucky that this forum has many of these people and Roadwarrior is one of them. to you RW, i salute you and your big heart! Birds of a feather flock together. Whatever reason we found this forum, I think people alike surround themselves with good people. Like this forum!!!! Heres to Roadwarrior! Quote
alhuff Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 fisherman are some of the best people you will ever meet, IMHO. everyone here makes it a pleasure to spend all the time i can here...... Alfred Quote
Yankee_Bassman Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I agree with everything already said....BUT....where is the post from the owners of Yo-Zuri, who REALLY owe him a tip o' the old sombrero? Quote
Chris Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Yeah this forum keeps me on my toes thanks guys Glenn, LBH, RW Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted February 3, 2006 Author Posted February 3, 2006 UPDATE- I got the packages today!! What a gorgeous rod and matched with the reel,..it's "reeel" purdy. Great looking set-up. My only dilemma is that the reel is right hand and I'm left. RW says God meant for me to fish right handed like "normal" people do. LOL,..far from normal man,..but I appreciate you giving me the benefit of the doubt! lol. In short, sweet set-up, great guy,..what comes around goes around. RW if EVER I can assist you with ANYTHING, please let me know. My tuna boat is for sale otherwise I would insist you get up here. If I can get you on my buds boat, would you make the trip? He is actually contemplating getting out of the business too but he's giving this season one more shot. He was my mate before he had his boat so it wouldn't be an issue if you are interested. Thanks again RW! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) Quote
GobbleDog Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 I don't want to spoil the parade, but I heard RoadWarrior drinks a lot and thinks old people smell funny. No wait, that's me. RW is alright. 8-) Quote
