Any time Florida Strain bass and Black bass are found together there will be cross breading and therefore yes there will be hybrids this is not uncommon in LA (Lower Alabama) and in Southern Georgia. They are divergent species that are also Homolognous and can therefore cross breed and creat viable offspring that are capable of reproducing their own offspring. I can't remember the actual scientific name for this occurence because I an to lazy to get my biology book out of the car.
