Triton21 Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I am new to this forum but not to Bass Fishing. I started fishing as soon as I could walk and caught my first bass at 2 years old(a smallmouth on a cricket). I have been fishing over 62 years and still have the passion I have had all my life. Fishing has cost me several jobs and 2 wifes but I wouldn't change a thing. I recently moved to Southern Illinois from Eastern Kentucky and am getting adjusted to a new area. Did a lot of pond fishing last year but have found a Bass Club in the area and get to get back into tournament fishing. I have sent my entry fee to Bass for the Kentucky Lake Open and am on the waiting list(hope I get in). I am looking forward to learning from this forum as we all know "You can't learn all there is to Bass Fishing". Thanks Glen for letting me join. Kelley Quote

FALCON Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 HEY KELLEY, WE MUST BE MARRIED TO SISTERS. LAST YEAR WHEN I GOT MY BOAT MY WIFE DID THE SAME THING. I HAD A 16' PRINCECRAFT WHICH IS OK BUT I'VE HAD SIX SPINE SURGERIES AND I WAS GETTING BEAT UP TOO MUCH. SO I STARTED LOOKING AT 20'-22' CENTER CONSOLES SO I COULD STAND UP WHILE UNDER POWER. SHE LOOKED AT THE 25' BAHA SPORTFISH AND SAID SHE THOUGHT I WOULD BE HAPPIER WITH THAT BOAT.....................I LOVE THAT WOMAN. RICK Quote
