I use 3/0 Gammy EWG's.

X2 or a 4/0 owner straight.

I switch between a 3/0 and 4/0.  Sometimes the bass will bite it on the 3/0 and other times on the 4/0, so I let the fish tell me which I should use.

When I am flipping with them I use a 4/0 superline.  If I am carolina or texas rigging in light cover I use a 3/0.

3/0 Superline hook

I was having trouble with a hookset on a 3/0ewg so switched to a 4/0 straight shank owner because someone on here recommended it.  It made all the difference for me.

I've used them, but mostly on fluke and paddletail swimbaits.  They work great, though I haven't had an issue using the Wide Gap Plus hooks with beavers.

Wow, no one has tried a beav on a 1/32 or 1/16 oz weighted wide gap hook?    :-X ;D
