I was just on the Cabela's webpage.  Under the store locations it says there will be a new one opening up

in St. Louis in 2006.

Well, I know the City of Arnold had pitched a location down by me. Good to see they're coming but sorry to hear they're not building down by me.  I'd have signed up for a job in a heartbeat.

There is a Cabela's in K.C. ,Mo. I heard also there will be one opening up in the St.louis area too. Any of you guys go to Dunn's? Some of their soft plastics are really good.On the Illinois side of the river in Alton there is a place that pours it's own plastics and has a good selection too. It's called Bluff City Tackle. If a Cabela's opens a store closer to me than St.Charles, i will be applying there.

I pass it everyday on the way home from work.  Stop in quite abit.  Those Dunns big bite senko style baits work pretty well.

Am I crazy or did i hear there is going to be a BPS or Cabelas opening in Grand Rapids, MI. That would be awesome, but it would also disapoint me to see some of my favorite local stores like D and R to suffer because of this.

The one in Kansas City is actually on the Kansas side.  Right now I have a Cabela's 20 minutes away, in about another year or so there will be a new BPS 15 minutes away, as well as some other giant sporting goods store (I think ...... Sportsman's ....... huskertko knows for sure).  Can you say trouble?  I will also be graduating from college with in the next year and hopefully have some $$$$ to spend.  The monkey is getting very excited.
