Sounds good but, unfortunately, it doesn't work out that way as much as I'd like it to.

"Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish."

Hey muddy-man, one time me and my buddy were fishing a local pond and he hung his jerkbait in a tree so we pull up to shore and this little chihuah comes running down the hill, we didn't think much of it until a big nasty rotweiler about twice my size comes screaming down the hill. Lets just say we put that trolling motor to work... ;D ;D ;D

just a funny story I thought I'd share.

Sounds like one of those old "Confucius say" jokes.  ;)

I definitely like to keep my distance from Rottweilers!!

That gives me an idea for where to put my sons Christmas present. Although I should get him a megaphone, He had a steel leader on this summer on a lake filled with pike, he birdnested his reel and I told him to let me know when it was OK to engage the trolling motor. I heard him mumble OK and then I proceeded to wrap the leader in the trolling motor prop shaft.
