Guest avid Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 There are so many little inexpensive fishing tackle dohickeys out there . What's your favorite? Mine is the water gremlin bull shot. These little pointy splitshots are the coolest way to add a touch of weight. Quote
Shad_Master Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 The little doo-hickey's you get from GYCB that goes on the line in front of your Senko to keep it from pulling down on the hooks. Don't know what they are called, found them on this site earlier this year -- need to order some more. Quote
Rebbasser Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 One of these: Fits in your pocket and worth it's weight in gold at times. I NEVER hit the lake without at least 1. Have not lost a fish to a dull hook in a loooong time. Quote
Guest the_muddy_man Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 The little button on my cell phone that says off so the old lady or work cant find you when your out on the lake : Quote
Nick_Barr Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 FISHHEDZ: always needed in bad weather and a pocket Hook Sharpener Quote
BASSMAN1301599783 Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 The little button on my cell phone that says off so the old lady or work cant find you when your out on the lake : I'LL SECOND THAT ONE Quote
Rattlinrogue Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Fingernail clippers! Change baits without biting the line. Quote
MyKeyBe Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 My favorite doo-hickey? This here web site. Man, I missed you guys & gals. Thanks for getting us back online GLENN! Quote
billybass Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Plumber's solder. I don't use bullet weights any more, I cut off a piece of solder suited for the wind and push it up in my worms. Can place it anywhere in the worm I want to help vary the fall and presentation. Quote
Bass Hammer Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Mine is a little bracket that hooks on a door handle and holds your spool of line when re-spooling. Quote
Redtail Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Loc-Tite I think that's how it's spelled (super glue from walmart) Quote
Kana Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 finernail clippers, on the retractable reels. hangs out of the way when youre not using it! but second is the configuration of waist packs that i have rigged to hold my tackle, sine i bank beat. think of it as a tactical fishing gear! Quote
sodaksker Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 finger nail clippers are handy for me too, but I like the idea of the solder for weight. Seems like that might be a little tough to get in the worm without bending the solder. Quote
DDbasser Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Norman Speed Clips I'll second these!!!! ;D They are great for fishing crankbaits and topwaters. Also the little spring type line keepers, water gremlin bull shots, and a Pair of Fiskar scissors for cutting my braided line. Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted December 1, 2005 Super User Posted December 1, 2005 I'd have to say a garlic spike-it markers saves me lots of money. Red, Blue, Orange, and Chartrues. But the others are necessary also, needle nose, clippers, and the list could go on. Quote
Upnorth Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Those rubber Peg-it strips are a must have. You can peg your bullet weight without damaging your line or whip up a quick carolina rig on the fly. Quote
