Livin4Fishin Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I am in Mountain Home, Arkansas. About a mile and half from Bull Shoals Lake. Mountain Home is in the center of the northern Ozark Mountains located between Bull Shoals and Norfork lakes. You can fish for trophy river smallmouth on the only National River in the old USA. Fish the best Brown Trout streams in the world or lake fish for bream to 50lb. stripers. All this within a twenty minute drive. Branson, Mo is about an hours drive for those who crave the night life. I am from Bismarck, Arkansas and there isnt much better than trout fishing the Norfork River. I visit that place once a year because my great grandmother lives there. Quote
rocknfish9001 Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Eau Claire, MI. A little hick town in Berrien county, which is the county on the very south west corner. My pr (personal record) is currently 6 ppound even. Quote

fish-fighting-illini Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 I'm from Peoria, Illinois. Dead middle of Illinois draw a line from Chicago to St. Louis and we are almost equal distance between them. Lots of medium size lakes around. Illinois and Mississippi rivers are fairly close but neither is anything to write home about. Good bass is a 4 or 5lber around here but their are some 7-9's. Quote
