i'm going to continue using the senkos, but the ones i have seem too long and narrow; i've always heard of senkos being real cigar-like but i've yet to find them at wal-mart. i do have some of those brush hogs though, they're a green and orange color, no flakes about 3 inches. and i did catch about a 3 1/2 lb. bass on a spinner bait about a month ago there, but it hasn't produced any fish since then.

I just recently went to wal-mart and i may have found what could been a great deal. it's a luck e strike senko kit; 5 gray. 5 green w/ black flakes, green with red flakes, and 2 other colors plus some hooks and sinkers. it's only about $4 but can you tell me if it's worth the purchase or not? also one more thing; what's your input on live lizards- if i were to hook them like at the leg or something.

I like the Manns baby 1 minus for small ponds.  They don't dive too deep and have good action and not hard to learn how to fish.
