Heres the deal im going to be fishing theese ponds every  morning from 6-noon. Theres ALOT of algae and trees laying over.. With the addition of quite a few large bass. I was thinking using a topwater like a buzzbait, and if that doesnt work using a  t-rigged u-tail worm?

Does that sound like a pretty good plan, or do i need to be doing something different?

Definitely DO NOT FORGET to  take some ZOOM super flukes.A ZOOM horny toad may do well near or over the algae.Pond bass typically see lots of frogs.

I would definetley try a moss mouse or frog on top of the scum. A buzz bait is a good bait for the edges of the weads. The Texas rigged worm is also a good bait to try. If  that does not draw strikes switch to a 4 inch worm t-rigged. Fish right in the cover. Have fun!

Well today ended my weekend of fishing theese ponds. Overall i think i got 13 bass. Some small some pretty decent. Largest one was about 3lbs.Pretty good for me. I changed my plan a bit and caught the majority of fish on a watermellon senko rigged weightless. I worked it right up against the weed beds and got some good action. I also caught some nice ones fishing the buzz bait right over all the weeds..

Well just thought id throw in an update.
