Super User Grey Wolf Posted July 28, 2005 Super User Posted July 28, 2005 Go to your states division of wild life site on your computer and see if they have topo maps of the lake your going to. I hope this helps. Quote
Cujo Posted July 31, 2005 Posted July 31, 2005 check your local wal mart sometimes they have maps of popular lakes in the state. if you have a bass pro or cabelas near by go there. you can also go to google and type in hydrogarphic map or contour map, hit enter and after that go to the bottom of the page and click on search within the results and then type the name of the lake in and hope for the best. BASSMAN1301599783 Posted August 6, 2005 Author Posted August 6, 2005 Where are you looking for a map of? I was looking for a map of "Lake Isabella" but I hapened to find a marina when I got thair that had them for ten bucks. It helped alot we fished some chanels and got three about 3-4 lbs and a bunch of dinks. Thanks all of you guys for your help. I am now much more confident using this tool to rule out unproductive water, before I even get my boat in the water. Now im looking for maps of all the local lakes I fish regularly. I would definitly suggest picking up maps of your local hot spots if you dont already. ;D Quote
