playmaker47 Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 NE Kansas is where I am from. We have a lot of ponds around here that range from 1 acre to 15 acres. We also have about 5 lakes within an hour or 2's drive. But the closest is Ceder Bluff Resevoir, and it is my fav of them all for Bass. Quote

BARON49_Northern NY Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Another newbie to this site. Glad to find out there are others out there like myself that got away from fishing and now are getting back into it. I live in Northern New York, within minutes of Lake Ontario, Chaumont Bay, and the St. Lawrence River. Bass being my favorite fish, but do go after Walleye, Northerns, Muskies, and a little Salmon and Brown trout fishing. Recently got hooked on the spring Striper run down on the Hudson River. I fish a lot of the smaller lakes here in NY as well as do a little traveling down south to the Carolina's and Florida in the winter time. Always looking for new fishing friends to swap ideas and fishing stories with. Quote
Orabbit Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Springfield, IL Like others here I have recenlty gotten back into fishing after a 25+ year break. I focus primarily on bass but do some trout fishing as well as walleye occasionally. And I have caught a few muskie as my local "bass" lake also is stocked with muskie and they have a way of getting in the way of bass fishing! Quote

Turtle Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 One of the few western boys I guess. Fished Arizona since I was 5, other than a 4 year stint in TX which was great. Currently living in Mesa AZ. This year I am fishing the AZ B.A.S.S. Federation tournaments, Arizona Bass Fishing Team Circut, and my club. I love fishing here, definitely challenging, you could be fishing 50ft one day and flipping the next. My favorite lake is Lake Martinez, love working the tulles and docks, a rareity in AZ. Quote
jsragan Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 I am from Pelham, GA. About an hour drive from Lake Seminole and Eufaula.
