Little more than where I am from....

Born and Bred here in Massachusetts. I live in Milford now, its a small(ish) town about 40 mins from Boston. I make my living as a firefighter and have a 10 month old son...who cant wait to go fishing.

I have been fishing all my life but was never really serious until the last year after my son was born. My hobbies up to that point were not the safest and really inspired me to pursue fishing. Since then it has become a passion.

My main interest is Bass fishing but I also like to Flyfish for Trout in some local streams and rivers.

Rattlinrogue and I live in Hattiesburg, Mississippi (53 miles from the Gulf of Mexico) and home to the largest National Guard base in the world, Camp Shelby.  As "Rogue" said, we fish local public lakes and ponds, but since 9-11, one of our favorite lakes is now unavailable.  We loved to fish on a small lake of the military base, but that area is now off limits due to military using live amo at the firing/bombing ranges.

Now we fish predominantly at a state park near our home where we consistantly catch bass ranging from 2-7 lbs. and at least once monthly we will land a lunker 8-10 lbs.

I live about an hour NW of Harrisburg PA. I fish mostly electric motor only lakes ranging from 60 to 500 acres. I'll fish about 8 tournaments on these waters. I also fish the Junaita and Susquehanna rivers.

I'm very jealous of those of you who live in the south. Fishing 365, I can only imagin.

Born in New Orleans La, needed new scenery and reloacted to Portland Or.  Again change of view and landed in Osaka Japan.  La  has tons of little lakes and ponds, thats where i started, continued bass fishing in Or, when the season permitted.  Also picked up trout/salmon, and smallmouth fishing, but still love largemouth!  Try to fish lake and ponds when i can, but dont mind hitting rivers either!

From southern Ohio/northern KY.  Living in NE Ohio (Kent/Stow).  Met up with a great guy on this site and fished with him this weekend.  He kicked my @ss, and I had to pay him a guide fee when we got off the water, but I am sure we have more trips in the future.

Any other guys in the area close that post on here, let us know.  Thanks Glenn for  a great site.
