Glenn i am reccomending that up besides your senko topic and the carolina rig topic you put one for begginers that has the link to the begginers section because it seems like every new angler asks that same question and then we have to go find the website and post it.

Another good idea.

That would be very helpful to members and guests.

I also think the link is a good idea, but the purpose of a forum should be to share information and ideas.  There is no need for everyone who has been on here for awhile to feel the need to steer people to the articles, if someone is asking a question that you don't want to answer, just ignore it and move on.

I think the article section is a good place to start and often recomend it.  It gives the beginner a basic understanding of alot of the methods and techniques, and still allows for plenty of follow up questions and advise, plus now they have some idea how to apply it or focus their questions on a specific topic, where personal advice maybe helpful.

No need to add another sticky post at the top.  Some people would rather post than read articles. There's nothing wrong with that.

For those that want to read articles, the link to the beginner's section is at the very top of the page, first link under "Fishing Articles" - quite easy to find.  I'm sure those that want to read, find it and dive in.
