I can't remember the last time I got skunked. You'll have to adjust your fishing just as you said. Make a lot of noise. In muddy waters, I like to throw a heavy jig (with a rattle) to really bang the bottom. Especially after the heavy rains. Quote

7Lbass Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 I'm facing this very situation tonight here in illinois....We have a tourney that starts at 5:30 and goes till 9:15....The rain started last night late and its still raining very lightly...I think it could be a awesome 3 hour tourney...I'm sure our water won't be saturated with mud just yet...So I will fish the areas that I normally do, but instead of skipping under docks I'll work between them a little more than I normally would...I think a violent Jig presentation is in order..
