Spinnerbaits.  Jigs a close second. Caught a lot of fish on ribbon tail worms, but not my favorite to fish.

Sorry, I just can't pick out 1 bait, but these were some of the baits that produced well me for me in 2008

I spent a lot of time fishing with a Chompers Twin tail grub this year.  12" Luck E Strike Sneaky Snakes and spinnerbaits.

Jigs would be my number one. With most coming on an Omega and a bunch of big ones on an Eakins
