mtangtong Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Fishing under a full moon, is this the ideal time to fish at night or is it better to fish in pitch black? Quote
Chris Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 I like to fish when there is a full moon with clear skies. When its pitch black with no moon I feel they feed more during the day. Summertime night fishing under any moon is a good time to catch fish but the more you fish you will notice that the larger fish will bite under a full moon. Quote
Bass_junky Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 I prefer to night fish with a full moon. But the only reason is for vision at night. I hate running into those stumps at night, the noise carries very far, lol. If you relate the moon phase to deer/elk, they will feed more at night during a full moon. For bass fishing, if the time tables show a period is best during the night, then I go, if not I stay home. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 3 days before the moon and 3 days after. don't even go home till that moon goes away!!!! 1 Quote
mtangtong Posted June 22, 2005 Author Posted June 22, 2005 I figured a full moon would be better, just wanted to get someone else's opinion. Thanks! Quote
