zbass,

I have to say that you got a good laugh out of me,good one,LOL.....

What everyone is saying about the rc 1.5's are a good choice for someone who wants to try out a lc bait but is hesitant about spending the money. They are great cranks that flat out catch fish.Square lip that goes thrue cover well, and runs aroud 2 feet deep.

What patterns have been productive in the Pop-Max for you RW? Any luck with the Pop-X?

I like the frog pattern, but I'm partial to green anyhow. I bought a

couple several years ago, fished them once, caught a fish on both

and put them away. They're just about too cool to fish! However,

I fished the lure with CJ and ghoti on Kentucky Lake last summer

and caught several bass. You won't be diasappointed.

for the suggestions guys, now I can spend a couple hours looking them all up on-line  .

Zbass, yea I know where BPS is

its only about this far from my house  .

I haven't seen the Ghost Sunfish color in the rc, but I may have overlooked it. And, the Megabass  Griffon bait seems so small.

I like that store. It has the nascar simulator. I almost spend as much time in there as the fishing dept. Okay, maybe not.

zbass I did the nascar simulator one time at BPS, I was off the track more time than on it. I guess it takes some getting use to.

I go to BPS sometimes 1 or 2 times a week, if nothing else just to look around

I love the Megabass Griffon in Crack Jungle (crack lime over a clear body with an orange belly).  I fished it like crazy this year, and it produced every single time.

I also get a lot of fish on the RC1.5 in Blue Back/Chartreuse color.  Splatterback is a great color too.

Those two cranks are must haves for me from now on.

I would have to live in my truck if I went to BPS that much. That is providing I could afford my truck. I would have to park in their lot cause I couldn't afford gas.

We need to quit talking about the Griffon. . If there is any Killer pink Griffons out there that need a good home, tell me!

The Griffons will always be in my boat.

lol.  Griffons suck.  Don't buy them.  Put them on Ebay for a 'buy it now' of like $2, and I'll think about taking them off your hands because I'm a nice guy...

I bought a few Pop-Max's over the holidays and can't wait to get them wet.  I picked up one in Cicada, PM Bass, and Spook Killer.

I have a few Pop-X's on my short list: GG Black Bug, Moth, and School Bait.  Down monkey, down.

I finally jumped on board the LC train and bought my first LC lures today.

Got 4 Sammy 100, 4 Splash tail 90, and a popper

All for $73.

I hope they won't disappoint me.

I didn't count them all up, but, there sure is a lot of votes for the LC RC  .5 & 1.5 and also for the pointer.  I just bought a RC 2.5 DD in copper green shad, haven't used it yet. I have had 4 Pointers , 3 shallow runners and 1 deeper runner. 1 Bevy  shad and 1 Staysee90, but, I haven't gave these an honest try yet. I kinda went overboard on the Moonsaults, I must have 12 of them, cause I caught a big fish(9lb) on one  ;D, and haven't done a whole after that. :'(

I really went over board on the Megabass cyclone mr-x & md-x both, maybe a dozen of them, and, again  :'(, haven't caught much to speak of. You would think I'd learn my lesson by now. Maybe I should just try to fish with the lures I bought. ;D
