It depends on what time of the day your ordered it.  If it was after they were closed then you won't get a confirmation until the next business day. If I remember correctly, you get an order confirmation email, then an email letting you know it's shipped. If the order didn't get processed on Friday or if it was ordered after their final shipment of the day, then yes you won't get it until Wednesday. If you don't have your order confirmation and/or shipment email by Monday, I'd give them a call. They have always been very quick to process orders in my past experiences and are very helpful with any problems. Just wait till Monday (I'm not sure if they are open on Saturday) and give them a call if you don't have anything by then. ;)

When ordering on-line:

Rule #1

Never ever order on weekends and when I mean "weekend" I mean Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Rule #2

Never ever order past 8 PM, your order won 't be processed and shipped until the next day

Rule number #3

If you are in a hurry like trying to get your stuff for a weekend tournament and it 's Tuesday you are screwed, you won 't get your stuff in time for the tournament.

My rules about ordering bass tackle on line.

Rule #1 - Order from reputable dealers - TW is fine

Rule #2 - Order what you want when you feel like it

Rule #3 - If you followed rule #1 they will get to it pretty soon.

Rule #4 - If you need the stuff right away, call to place your order and pay extra for expedited shipping.

agree with all these "rules." I once ordered from BPS on a Saturday at 8 pm because I was so anxious to get my order in that night when I made my mind up. I recived my package 2 and a half weeks later on ground shipping which is supposed to be 5-10 days. :-X

Hey I actually had a similar experience with them around last Christmas. For some reason even though the order went through on the website they never received it. It's a possibility that happened. If you call them they can help you figure it out. When I called they we able to look and see that the order was never received by them. Obviously you wouldn't be charged for it either.

If I order on Monday I will have it by Thursday or Friday. Sometimes if I order on Tuesday I will have it on Friday, Monday at the latest. I usually get an order confirmation immediately. I think that is autogenerated and not based on their office hours. The shipping confirmation however is obviously based on human interaction so you will not get that until it is shipped, which means if you order after hours you are not going to get one until the next business day.

If you didnt get an order confirmation immediately or within an hour or so then I would say your order did not go through and you need to call them. Check your debit card to see if you were charged. That's a good way to know if your order was, atleast in part, processed.

TW is a quality and reliable site, so I'd say a follow up call should clear up the issue.

To answer your question about weekends, the answer is that shipping estimates do not include non business days, i.e. holidays and weekends. I agree with the above posters, I do not order on a day that will involve weekends/holidays. If I need it that bad I'll drive to a store to guarantee I have it.

Remember that once it is in the hands of the shipping company it is no longer under the control of the place you ordered from.  You and the dealer are at the mercy of the shipping company you or they chose.  You can choose who they ship your order through as well as what priority the shipping is.

RIGHT ON AVID!!!! I have ordered from TW and you will get an email I always have but not necessarily the same day and an shipping notice as well. TW is a top shelf merchant that you can trust.
