BassKinG Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Does anyone know the times that they show the tourneys and stuff? Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted June 9, 2005 Super User Posted June 9, 2005 Comes on around 9:00 am on Sat. in the central time zone, but there are a bunch of other shows before that that start around 6:30 am. I used to watch them all religously during the winter, but if it ain't raining then I am fishing. Quote
Nick_Barr Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Over here on the west coast, it comes on at 4:00 AM, i get up every saturday and tape it if i have a tourney, if not i watch it. Quote
mac7373 Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 In the central time zone... looking at tomorrow morning for instance...Bassmaster University comes on at 4am, followed by Greatest Angler Debate at 430am and then from 5-6am its Bassmaster, were they recap the latest BASS tournament, likely the latest E-50. I Tivo this stuff every morning and it starts with Loudmouth Bass at 4am followed by BassCenter at 430am on most mornings until Thursday when it changes to the above lineup. As far as watching tournament coverage Saturday morning is your best bet...from 6-9am. If you have satellite or digital cable maybe you have the OLN channel (outdoor life network) and/or The Outdoor Channel on my Dish Network guide it is 287 and 288. They both have various fishing shows throughout the week and one of them plays episodes of the show hosted by Fish Fishburne of BASS called Classic Patterns. I watched the one yesterday with Skeet Reese, whom I am not very fond of...but he was at Clear Lake, California and I found the show to be one of the more instructional ones I have ever seen. There is also a set of DVD's called Classic Patterns made by all the top Pro's. My wife is supposed to get the set for me for my B-day...it runs around $130 for the set of 13-15 DVD's. I know this is not what you were asking about but none the less its some useful info. Those two channels I mentioned above are pretty good channels. I am not a big fan of Al or Ron Linder so if you can handle them you should find these channels helpful. Both channels are also big hunting channels as well, so if you have a five year old daughter like me...DON'T LEAVE THE ROOM WITH THESE CHANNELS ON!!! I though she had fallen and broke her neck the other day she was so hysterical but come to find out she watched these two guys mow down a couple of mule dear with some high powered rifles while I was in the back room. She was not too happy and now every time "daddy" picks up the remote she leaves the room fearing I will turn it back on that channel. Later. Quote
fishingrulz Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 if you have IO go to channel 407 and 408, 407 is the outdoor network so it has hunting and fishing on all the time but 408 has some fishing. look at 407 when you need your fix ;D Quote
BassKinG Posted June 12, 2005 Author Posted June 12, 2005 yeah just watched bass Saturday today, nice lineup of shows I liked it. Quote
