I love bubble gum, but it just doesn't work very good on my home lake. But Mathiolade just slays them.

another vote for bubblegum, even in the clear waters around here it works very very well.

Taking the advice from this thread, I purchased both white and bubblegum. Since the bubblegum I bought did not come soaked in an attractant, I put them in the bag of white which did.

The out come was, more strikes and landing of a small mouth on bubblegum....notta on the white...not even a nibble!

Bubblegum gets my vote now too! ;)

I have thrown them all and on the lake I fish Mathiolade will out fish any color combined. I am sure it is because our water stays so clear.

If I'm sightfishing the top of the water column, white.

But the majority of the time I fish a weightless trick worm or senko, I deadstick it around cover in water up to 12 ' deep. In the majority of lakes and small ponds here in west Georgia, watermelon seed is the color of choice for this type of fishing.

bubble gum was my favorite, but i bought a bag of white zoom trick worms, and through them weightless, their not a floating worm but you can work them up on the surface just like a floating worm
