Every summer I fish with 3 buddies in our own private little fishin" derby. The lake is roughly 100 acres, 12' deep at most and extremely clear water. It's a man made lake with very little cover...so we tend to stick to the shoreline pitchin plastic worms and throwing spinnerbaits. Long story short......we get the same results every year....plenty of small fish and every couple years a "Lunker" (5 lbs.   in Washington State). What should I be doing to consistently bring in the bigger fish....we know they're in there.

i actualy fish alot of lakes like your talking about, and the thing i've learned about that is the small fish like to hide in the weeds along the bank, try if you have a boat casting parallel to the bank a little further out say maybe 15 feet out and try to catch the bigger fish suspending in the water and also you may lose a lure or 2 but i like to throw frenzy lipless cankbaits(ratttle traps) into and through the brush or anything else thats in somewhat deeper water...especially this time of year.
