val Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 Going to actually roll out of bed and get out there in the morning. Never been fishing in the morning before, and im looking forward to it. What is the best time to get out there? And what should i use? Its suppose to be 63 cloudy with dense fog tommorow morning. Thanks Quote

val Posted June 1, 2005 Author Posted June 1, 2005 thats great thanks.... I cant wait I always hear of the lunkers getting pulled in the morning Quote
hookset Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 I would say the best time to arrive is right before light. One of my favorite lures to throw in the morning is a buzzbait. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted June 1, 2005 Super User Posted June 1, 2005 Your in for a real treat. I always like top waters just as the sun is rising. At about 8:00 I switch to a shallow running crankbait or spinnerbait. Quote
spotaholic Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 The best time in the AM is anytime you are out there. Good luck. Quote
FishLaughAtMe Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 I'm with KU on this one. Go with a top water lure, like a Chug Bug or Hula Popper. I love seeing and hearing the bass take one of these down. They seem to be really effective around 6-8 am. I'd try to time it so you're making your first cast right as it starts to get light out. Quote
Curado Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 I'll pull out a spinnerbait, buzzbait, or shallow crankbait and start burnin water. I cover alot of water in the morning because the fish are most aggressive in the morning so I am too. Quote
