tampa florida bass fishing

listen i dont have a boat and i need to know how to know if a bass grabs the bait with one hit or like it nibbles on it and the river i fish is not popular for bass fishing :-[

If its a river thats in Florida with fresh water it has bass and if its not a popular place then it would have big bass because people don't fish it. Watch your line for it to move. They don't spit it as fast as other lures. Most of the time when a bass has it they are not going to let go. If in doubt set the hook. Sometimes when you feel a peck peck they are eating it then spitting it out or sometimes its bluegills.

hey does it mater if you mix the bait together like let the other bait touch the other bait because people been saying that it will make fishes not attack it because they touched each other like two different worms will it matter

When my fishing partner used to live in Tampa, we only went bass fishing one time. And it was probably in that same river you're talking about. If I remember correctly, we didn't catch much - if anything.

Instead, we always headed out for the Gandy boat ramp and would absolutely sley the Snook, Redfish, Drum, Trout, Flounder, Sharks, etc.... around the big barge pilings and near the power plants.
