U.W BronzeBack Hunter Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 should i trim the silicone/rubber strands, or simply use a smaller plastic trailer? Do both? Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 5, 2009 Super User Posted January 5, 2009 1. Go with an all rubber jig imo 2. Trim a little and a small trailer to make the jig as compact as possible 3. Fish it on lightest line you can get away with Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 For a trailer I'd recommend a tiny paca chunk, or if your looking for less action, a 2.75 inch yum chunk. Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 on a finesse jig I typically use a smaller trailer like a zoom craw or a small 2' chunk. I will also trim the skirt to about 1/4-12" past the bend in the hook Quote
