Steven Ladner Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Unuasual looking bait, be sure to let us know how it works. Quote
Super User CWB Posted January 2, 2009 Super User Posted January 2, 2009 Wave lures makes excellent products. I haven't used the monkey yet, but it looks awesome and I'm sure it will work great. Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 2, 2009 Super User Posted January 2, 2009 In the Watermelon/Chart color it is one of the best bed baits around. If I'm bed fishing I always have one rigged up on either a 1/32 or 1/16 oz bullet pegged with a toothpick 2-4" above the hook. It picks up the fish my other two bed baits can't. (Truth serum is talking)...... :-X Quote

I use a Slider Pro Series 1/16 oz weight for the 3" and that is a pretty good deal especially when the bite is tough and you need to put a limit together. You def/ want to use weight though because they have a slow fall. Someone mentioned the Platypus, Awesome bait for flipping/pitching. I took the Watermellon Seed up to NY this year and limited out fairly quick. Quote

BassinBoy Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 You picked great colors, and fish them weightless. Quote
