I used to read everthing I could get my hands on about fishing, during the winter.  Luckily, I now have bassresource to get my info from.  All those magazines were costing a small fortune.  unfortunately, when the season came around I would have numerous techniques and baits I wanted to try.  Ended up throwing everything and learning little.  This year I intend to focus on three techniques and as many baits to learn each well.
