At our aquarium here in Tulsa/Jenks we supposedly have the worlds best lure/general fishing collection.

It consisted of really old reels, rods, lures, primitive hooks, arrowheads etc.

Would you all be interested in seeing some of the photos I took? I ask because I personally love these type of collections, and also we are fishermen after all. Most of my photos aren't to close up on the really big glass cases as to try and show the extent of his collection, and also my camera is a cheapo digital.

There is a MONSTER bass someone caught and I have a photo of it on the wall. It sits above this desk, and it's about as big as the desk :o

If you guys are interested tonight I can try and clean up a few photos, and put them on my website.

This is only like a portion of this collection!

It's valued at over 4 million dollars, and this is only some of it. The owner has so much stuff, he keeps the rest in a safe place.

Sorry about the blur on some of these and or our reflections. Glass cases are tricky to shoot sometimes. Also some I left out because they were way to blurry or looked funny to me.

Anyways I hope you all enjoy the photos as much as I had fun going there. For true history buffs and avid fishermin, I think you will enjoy the photos. I had a blast there, if you ever get the chance, come see this collection, and also the aquarium itself.

ALSO please keep in mind if you're planning to visit this place these lures, reels, rods, books etc are all from the 1800's-1900's. They aren't new technology (basically where the fun of the history comes in). This aquarium also has a cool walk through shark tank, a petting station where you can touch rays, and many many other cool things

The x only shows on those photos.
