Pond-Pro Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 This forum seams to have a lot of traffic on it now. Do you think it is time to add another forum section, maybe one dealing with just lures? I think that it would make it a bit more organized. What is your plans? Quote
JT Bagwell Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 I think we should wait until we have 200 registered members. As of now I don't think it is too crowded. I also think that having a variety of topics in limited forums will entice members to post on a variety of subjects. For example, if a member gets in the habit of only going to the "Lures" forum he/she might miss a topic on another forum that they have some expertise in. That's my nickle's worth. JT Bagwell Quote
Danarchy Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 I just registered today, and I'd have to say that it's nice to have some "elbow room". I frequent a fishing forum that has thousands of registered users with many different sections of topics. In that forum, people are always arguing about off topic posts, many personal attacks are made, and for some reason, many adults act like childs. It's a good forum and I've learned a lot from the users there, but sometimes it gets out of hand. It's probably a good thing that there aren't so many here. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted November 23, 2004 BassResource.com Administrator Posted November 23, 2004 Welcome aboard, Danarchy. There's a lot of great people here learning from each other. I'd like to think part of the reason is because of the caliber of people this site attracts. ;D That said, on the rare instance a rude or flame comment is posted, I delete it and give the offender a warning. Repeated offenders get my boot up their butt and are banned. I won't tolerate that behavior on my site. Fortunately, I've only had to do that once or twice in the past 7 years. Again, a tribute to the character of the people visiting this site. Quote
Bassin101 Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 I have been on this site now 2 days and already have new ideas on how to solve fishing/catching problems as a rookie. The site is easy to navigate and so far the responses are good. Thanks Quote
kajun Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 I agree with Bassin101. I'm pretty much a rookie myself and this site really helps me out. I really don't want a whole lot of new forums myself because the way it is now it kind of dumbs it down for me and makes it real easy for me to navigate. Thanks Quote

Pond-Pro Posted January 9, 2005 Author Posted January 9, 2005 > I don't know what you are waiting for! As good as this forum is, adding another catagorie would make it better in my opinion. Are you planning on adding any new catagories? :-/ Quote
crankbait Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 I registered today but have been using the site for almost a year....I always posted on a local site in nj... they have more forums which keep the topics seperated....Great site overall..!!! Quote
eddiefebuary Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 I think there should be an open forum for non bass related topics. Quote
Pond-Pro Posted January 26, 2005 Author Posted January 26, 2005 Great job adding new catagories to this forum! I really like the way it is set up. Everyone neads to think through there posts and type erverything they want to say on one post instead of four. Don't post just to get a post. There is a ton of information available on this site. Good job!! ;D Quote
