Chris Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Anyone tryed to drop shot a crankbait yet? Quote
Shad_Master Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Not sure how that would work. Please explain. Quote
Chris Posted January 13, 2005 Author Posted January 13, 2005 Its a regular drop shot rig that you tie a shallow running crankbait to instead of a hook and robo worm and you drop it to the bottom and drag it so that the crankbait wiggles while still staying in contact with the bottom. Quote
Shad_Master Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Let me get this straight. You've got a shallow running crank bait, that you are pulling down with a weight. Why not just use a deeper diving crank bait ??? Quote
BassMaster Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 I agree with Shad_Master. Or buy a deep diving suspending crankbait or minnowbait! Quote
JHall Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Drop shot a deep-diving crankbait? huh?? ... jk Quote
BassMaster Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 NO!!! I mean just fish a suspending deep diving crankbait ordinarily! 8) Quote
