Username Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 I know yall already made a post asking what people want and i think the format is much better than the old one but have ya'll considered different threads such as boat setup/care or a gallery to show off your catch? BTW- what is a code? Like the # sign button over the smileys by the teletype and quote button. Hope i'm not asking a previously answered question. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted November 13, 2004 BassResource.com Administrator Posted November 13, 2004 Hi, Good questions! I'll answer your last question first. Sometimes there are times somebody may want to post a question regarding code on their own site, or a similar question regarding web code. However, the beginning and the end of the code snippet can sometimes be hard to decipher in a post (where does the code end, and where does the message begin?). In order to make it easier to view, you can place the code between the tags created when you push the # button. It will then appear in your post as text. Like this: Here is the code Now it's easy to tell exactly what is the code, and what is the message. Additional forums I certainly would like to add more forums. Matter-of-fact, it would be great to have many active forums. The keyword is "active". It's easy to create forums. It's hard to determine which ones will be used. Before I opened these new forums, I asked everyone on the old forums what categories (forums) they'd like in the new format. What you see today is a result of what the majority determined. Now that everyone is getting a chance to see the new format, and there seems to be interest in more forums, perhaps the question should be asked again? What does everyone think? Should we add more forums now, or should we wait awhile before adding more? If you want to add more, what should be added? Quote

Glenn, For what it's worth, I think additional forums should wait until there is an increase in traffic. Any bass topic can be fit into one of the existing forums. I personally don't want to have to open multiple forums for just, say, one thread. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted November 18, 2004 BassResource.com Administrator Posted November 18, 2004 That was the orginal plan, and since there's been no objection, I'm sticking with it. Quote
